In such places stay second half of the night inside your car with window glasses 80% shut and with a powerful torch light keep flashing into the forest. Thats what I do some times and got partial success. Inform the nearby villagers about your intention to stay to keep yourself safe.

ನಮ್ಮಕನಕಪುರ ಬಳಿಯ ತೋರೆಬೇಕುಪ್ಪೆ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಬಳಿ ಎಡಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೋಡಿಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾಗೇ ಹೋದರೆ ಡೆಂಕಣಿಕೋಟೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾ ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಊರಿನ ಜನ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದದ್ದನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆ.

ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಲಂ ತನಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯಿತ್ತು.ಈಗಲೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣಗಿರಿ, ಧರ್ಮಪುರಿ,ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುರುಬರು ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತಾಡುತಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಭಾಗದ ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.ಅವರಿಂದ ಈ ವಿಚಾರ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.ಕುರುಂಬರ ನಾಡೆಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದು ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಇರಬೇಕು.ಸಾರ್.
